A Firewall is designed to police traffic passing between seperate networks that have varying levels of trust. For example, you would place the Internal network of a business on one side of the Firewall and the Internet on the other. Then, specifically specify what types of traffic (Protocol, Port, Source, Destination) is allowed to pass.

Our Managed Firewall solution places your server behind our state-of-the-art Cisco ASA 5540 Firewall's creating a powerful barrier between your server and the outside world. We also employ a full time security administrator to administer the Firewall, review logs and make policy changes on behalf of our customers.
