From the servers we purchase, our network infrastructure, storage arrays, disk drives, data centre's and software, we always choose the solution guaranteed to deliver the highest performance and reliability.

Servers

Our Web Hosting Infrastructure is built on highly powerful Dell Poweredge® 2950 Series III rack mount servers. These servers are ordered with a special configuration consisting of Dual Intel Xeon® Quad Core CPU's, 16 or 32 Gigabytes of DDR2 ECC Memory, Redundant Power Supplies, and 15,000 RPM SAS SCSI disk drives.

Storage

EMC Clariion Storage Area Network's (SAN) arrays are used to hold customer data and connect to our Web Hosting servers via a 4 Gigabit/s Fibre Channel Fabric. Hardware RAID10 is used ensuring maximum read/write performance with disk failure redundancy. This configuration is necessary for our high availability clustering technology.

Software

Parallels Plesk® Panel and Parallels Plesk® Expand are the most notable software solutions used within our Website Hosting Infrastructure. This solution allows the hundreds of Parallels Plesk® servers within our environment to be centralised and managed from one location.

Network

Our Website Hosting Infrastructure is contained within two large world-class data centre's located in Brisbane. We operate a "Cisco Only" network with multi-homed carrier diversified connectivity including AAPT/Powertel, Optus & PIPE Networks. All equipment is multi-pathed ensuring that no single failure can bring down our network.

Mail

We have a centralised highly available mail server cluster using advanced anti-spam and anti-virus technologies. Customers have the ability to centrally manage their domains on the mail server including the ability to configure anti-virus and anti-spam settings individually on an account by account basis.
